Abstract: Based on the characteristics and technical requirements of agricultural machinery structure, a series of Triangle ball bearings with housing and reinforced sealing have been designed and developed. The selection of bearings and sealing structure have been scientifically designed to meet the working requirements of agricultural machinery.

1 Preface
When selecting bearings for agricultural machinery, two issues should be considered: firstly, due to the characteristics of agricultural machinery, structures with long axes or large spans are often used, which may result in significant deformation and deflection during operation. At the same time, in the production and installation of agricultural machinery, the installation positioning is not precise enough, and the axis of the shaft and the housing hole is misaligned; Secondly, due to the fact that agricultural machinery is mainly used in outdoor, dusty, humid, and polluted environments or in water operations, it is subject to material friction and environmental corrosion, and the operating environment is relatively harsh, which can easily cause bearing seal failure and reduce bearing service life. In order to meet the requirements of the structural performance of agricultural machinery, A company has developed a series of Triangle bearing unit with strengthened sealing.
2 Structural characteristics of Triangle bearing unit for enhanced sealing
This type of bearing consists of a bearing housing, an outer spherical bearing, a cast dust cover, and an oil seal (Figure 1).

2.1 Adopting a Triangle bearing unit structure
In order to meet the structural requirements of agricultural machinery, a type of outer spherical bearing with a housing is designed, which consists of an outer spherical ball bearing and a bearing housing. The outer ring of this type of bearing has a spherical outer diameter, which matches the concave spherical inner hole of the bearing housingand has automatic centering function. It is suitable for shafts with poor rigidity and large deflection. The bearing housing is designed as a Triangle cast bearing housing (Figure 2), and the bearing adopts the AEL series eccentric sleeve outer spherical ball bearing with automatic centering, easy installation, and complete sealing structure. The main feature of this type of bearing is that the upper end of the bearing has a certain degree of eccentricity, and an eccentric sleeve with the same degree of eccentricity is matched with it. This type of bearing has a strong locking torque compared to the UC series with top threaded outer spherical ball bearings, and is particularly suitable for agricultural machinery with long shafts, large winding, and violent jumping. This bearing is equipped with a sealing ring, which has good sealing performance. The bearings are filled with high-quality lubricating grease before leaving the factory, which has good lubrication and rust prevention functions. During use, additional oil can be added through the oil injection hole to effectively ensure the service life of the bearing.

2.2 Designed casting dust cover and oil seal
Due to the harsh environmental conditions of agricultural machinery, bearings require high sealing performance to ensure their use. For this purpose, cast dust covers were designed on both sides of the Triangle bearing housing (Figure 3). This dust cover has high strength and can resist the impact of large hard soil blocks and sand. Due to the small gap between the shaft and the inner diameter of the dust cover, it can effectively prevent large soil and sand from entering the bearing interior.

The dust cover is designed with a sealed skeleton oil seal installed inside to enhance sealing. Due to the smaller inner diameter of the oil seal compared to the shaft neck, there is a certain interference fit. After the oil seal is installed on the shaft, the pressure of its cutting edge and the contraction force of the self tightening spring generate a certain radial clamping force on the sealing shaft, blocking the leakage gap and preventing the entry of soil, sand, and water from the outside of the bearing. This oil seal has the characteristics of small installation position, small axial size, compact structure, good sealing performance, and long service life.
3 Conclusion
Based on years of experience in bearing production, Through improvements in bearing selection and sealing structure, it meets the working requirements of agricultural machinery under harsh conditions and greatly improves the service life of bearings. At present, this structure has been launched in various size series and has begun to be widely used in agricultural machinery such as soil preparation machines, compaction wheels, and film laying machines.
